For more than 45 years, Plamor Lanes Bowling Center has provided area bowlers with a place to let the good times roll. Plamor’s facility features 48 bowling lanes, automatic scoring, a full-service pro shop, a party room, a lounge with billiard tables and a snack bar. There is always something happening at Plamor Lanes. League play is available for bowlers of all ages and skill levels. Elementary school students are invited to participate in bowling after-school programs where they are taught the basics of the game. Beginning bowlers like to make use of the gutter bumpers. Bumper bowling ensures that everyone has fun playing the game. Bowlers of all ages enjoy “glow” bowling, which is bowling under black lights. Party packages and group rates are available.

Plamor hosts several tournaments each year such as the Junior Achievement Tournament, the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters Tournament and other tournaments associated with various fraternal organizations. In 2004 the Iowa Men’s State Bowling Tournament was hosted by Plamor. The Iowa Women’s State Bowling Tournament was held at Plamor the following year. And in April of 2006, Plamor was chosen to host the Iowa Youth Bowling Tournament.
